  I got a cartilage piercing done there in December by a sales associate that said she was the head piercer from the Destin Icing store. I thought with her experience that I would be safe getting my piercing done there. I was wrong. Initially, everything was fine. As the swelling went down, I discovered that she had done the piercing at a deep angle instead of going straight through. There was so much of the post in my ear that the backing did not allow any airspace for my skin to breath and actually was leaving a dent in my ear where it was digging in. After four months, the piercing was still not healing. I've had other piercings before, and I know how to take care of them while they are healing. I went to a professional piercer to see if I was doing something wrong, and found out that the piercing had been done incorrectly. I was advised to remove the piercing and allow it to grow up. I've had to have the piercing redone costing me double the money. DO NOT GET YOUR EARS PIERCED HERE. Go to a professional- it will save you money in the end.

  Had my daughter's ears pierced today and the lady didn't put the locking backs on correctly her earrings came out and I wasn't able to put them back in so I've wasted over $60 on earrings for nothing my poor baby shouldn't have to go through that again because an employee wasn't paying attention I definitely will be calling them for a full refund because this is ridiculous!
